Cheesy Mushroom, Sausage and Capsicum Pizzas

Method

Combine sauce and olive oil, spread over each pizza base and sprinkle with half the crumbled Mersey Valley cheese. Top with mushrooms, capsicum, sliced sausages and remaining Mersey Valley cheese. Bake at 230°C for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately.

  • 1 cup Italian-style tomato cooking sauce or puree
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 x 25cm pizza bases or souvlaki pitta breads
  • 235g Mersey Valley Pickled Onion Vintage Club Cheddar cheese, crumbled
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 red capsicum, finely sliced
  • 4 cooked Italian-style pork sausages, sliced diagonally
